Project Merios (Wings of Merios)

For a very long time now I want to draw a comic in manga style. I actually even tried, but back then my drawing skills were still at their beginnings and the biggest problem was the lack of a good story. I once again want to start something. but I know I won't be able to do it alone. At the moment i am collecting ideas for a story, plot and charakters. I have a setting in mind and also two of the main charakters. Yeah, getting weird ideas when driving home, tehe. So, if you have ideas, suggestions or other things that could help me. I might adding some sort of forum or guestbook for you to add ideas, until then you can contact me via mail. Setting:
A world filled with jungles and gigantic trees, full of life. Cities in the trees, undergrounds. caverns. Somewhere lost in the center of that jungle planet: a gigantic tree, called Merios. It is siad that that tree is mother, life, energy and more to the citizens of that planet, which has several moons. magic is everywhre, some rare very talented magic users though, people without magic are outcasts) villages of outcasts exist.

Charakters:
Aliera Eryada (yeah i know, i use that name in an online game, but it is very special to me)
Young female elemental magician, between societys without knowing her place and goal. Confronted with many bad things in her town she believes that the tree merios is the source of evil on this planet. She starts to look for it (maybe even to kill it), getting lost, in need of finding her place in the world and what she really wants. (long, bright colored hair)

no name so far
young, androgyne female wihtout magic, who seeks magic that she believed Merios could give her. She even believes Merios didn't grad her magic by purpose.
